Equality & Diversity

At ONE Training Services we are firmly committed to promoting and embedding equality, diversity and inclusion for all of our learners, staff, employers, visitors and contractors throughout the organisation’s work and activities.
We are learner focused and have high aspirations for all of our learners and staff. We strive to go beyond statutory obligations and integrate equality and diversity in all that we do.
Our strong commitment to equality and diversity as well as respect for all, is fundamental to our mission and values. These are summarised below.

We are proud of the diversity of our online student community and strive to be a socially inclusive organisation that recognises, values and celebrates individual differences, where everyone is enabled to achieve their full potential
We are proud of the fact that the Online Training Portal is an inclusive learning environment and believes that all members are entitled to be treated fairly, with dignity and respect. Furthermore, they are entitled to work and study in a welcoming, safe and supportive environment
We welcome all who would benefit from the opportunity to study at, or be trained on our Online Training Portal irrespective of their backgrounds
We are opposed to all forms of violent, abusive and discriminatory behaviour and work conscientiously to tackle inequality and promote diversity for all protected characteristics based on age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion and belief, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership.
Any complaints of discrimination or harassment are treated seriously and are fully investigated and may result in disciplinary action.

Our Single Equality Scheme and Equality Objectives and Action Plan clearly set out how we ensure that unlawful discrimination does not take place, and the efforts we take to move beyond legal compliance to maintain excellence and best practice in the promotion and celebration of equality and diversity.
