The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
This legislative instrument makes a provision for ensuring
1. The health, safety and welfare of persons at work.
2. The protection of others against risks to health or safety in connection with the activities of persons at work.
3. The control of the keeping and use and preventing the unlawful acquisition, possession and use of dangerous substances, and
4. The control of certain emissions into the atmosphere.
