UK food handlers have a legal duty to manage Food Safety under current food safety legislation.

By the end  of the course learners should be able to.

  • Understand the consequences of poor food hygiene standards and the benefits of a good food hygiene regime.
  • Define the terms food poisoning, food safety, food-borne illness, food allergy, contamination, hazard and HACCP.
  • Understand the relationship between hazard, risk and control.
  • Explain the use of a documented food safety management system.
  • Understand the reasons for food poisoning and recognise those most susceptible to its effects.

You may begin training straightaway. Following payment you will receive 90 days access to the course materials.  You will be logged into your course straightaway, and login details will instantly be sent to your email address.

Course access is 24/7. Indeed you may contact us by email 24 hours a day.  The system will save your course progress automatically, therefore allowing you to leave and return to the course whenever you wish.

THE FINAL TEST.

The online final exam has a pass mark of 80%. It consists of 30 multiple choice questions.   The final exam can be accessed straightaway after all of the course units have been completed. It does not have a time limit. Course units cannot be accessed during the final exam. As a result the integrity of the exam is maintained.

In the event of a fail, free resits are available.  Learners may return to the course and review the content before resitting the exam.

SUCCESS.

The final certificate is instantly sent to your email address in PDF format, following a successful exam submission. Thereupon your course access will cease immediately.  You will receive an on-screen message confirming your result.

In the case of multiple learner enrolments, Group Leaders will instantly receive a copy of their learners certificate. Therefore providing an instant record of learner achievement.

  4. On the CART page ensure that the number of user accounts required has been correctly entered in the QUANTITY box

  6. On the CHECKOUT page enter the Bill Payer’s (GROUP LEADER) details.
  7. Choose the payment method and tick the ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS box

  2. Group Leaders may assign user accounts to named learners from their control panel.  Login details are then sent to the learner by email, and thereafter course access is available to the learner for a period of 90 days.
  3. Learners will receive individual course access which can be monitored by the Group Leader.
  4.  If a Group Leader wishes to take the course they may add themselves to the existing group.
